When we eat food that our bodies are sensitive to, it can cause inflammation.  The inflammation can be caused by antibodies produced by the immune system when it comes into contact with substances that it perceives as foreign to our bodies. This happens when our digestive systems are not functioning properly. A disregulated immune system acquires allergies and sensitivities throughout our lives.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT FOODS I AM ALLERGIC TO?

There are many ways to try and figure this out. We may recommend blood tests or other types of tests.  The most effective and accurate way is to do a food elimination protocol that is tailored to you.

DO I NEED TO REMOVE THESE FOODS FROM MY DIET FOR GOOD?

No. Once we eliminate the foods that cause damage to our bodies, we can work on healing the digestive tract. A strong, healthy digestive system can create an environment that promotes a balanced immune system.  Once the digestive tract is healed and the immune system is regulated, sensitive foods can usually be incorporated back into the diet.
