What to Expect at Our Practice

Clear policies help ensure smooth appointments and the best possible care for all our patients.

Unlike many conventional doctor’s offices, we do not double book or overbook patients. We work hard to keep to our schedules and respect both your time and our doctors’ time.

Appointment Booking and Reservations

Credit Card Required for Booking When you book your appointment, you’ll be asked for a credit card number to reserve the doctor’s time. We will not charge your card before your visit. At the time of your visit, you may pay with cash, check, or credit card.

Credit Card Storage We do not keep your credit card on file after your first visit unless you specifically request it for convenience.

Appointment Confirmations We usually call you 1-2 days before your appointment as a reminder, but it remains your responsibility to remember your visit time.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

24-Hour Notice Required Please respect our time and let us know at least 24 hours ahead if you cannot make your scheduled visit.

Same-Day Cancellation Fees

  • Follow-up visits: $50 cancellation charge for same-day cancellations or no-shows
  • Initial consultations: Full visit fee ($390) charged for missed appointments without 24-hour notice

When you miss an appointment without notice, that time cannot be offered to another patient who needs care. This policy helps ensure our doctors’ time is used effectively.

Punctuality and Scheduling

Please Arrive on Time We do not double book or overbook patients, which means your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you are late for a visit, your time may be cut short to stay on schedule for other patients.

Our Commitment to You We work very hard to keep to our schedules and see you at your appointed time. We expect the same consideration from our patients.

Schedule Changes If you need to reschedule, please call as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate schedule changes with adequate notice.

Payment Policies

Payment Due at Time of Service Payment is expected at the time of service. We cannot provide services with payment arrangements made after your visit.

Check Policy Please do not ask us to post-date checks or wait to charge your credit card. If your check bounces, you will be responsible for covering the fee the bank charges us.
Payment Plans We offer payment plans for ongoing treatment programs for patients committed to their health journey. Discuss options with our office staff when scheduling.

Appointment Types and Availability

In-Person Appointments All initial consultations must be conducted in person at either our Pasadena or Redlands office.
Phone and Virtual Appointments Phone appointments may be available for existing patients for follow-up care. Virtual appointments are also available for established patients.
Home Visits Home visits are available for patients who cannot travel to our offices. Contact our front desk for pricing and availability at (626) 794-4668.
Extended Appointments Longer follow-up appointments can be arranged at hourly rates when needed for complex cases. You will never be charged extra for your visit without a discussion beforehand.

Questions About Our Policies

What if I have an emergency and need to cancel last minute? True emergencies are understood, but please call as soon as possible. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in requiring full payment in advance for future appointments.

Can I change my appointment time? Yes, with adequate notice we’re happy to reschedule. Same-day changes may not be possible due to our full schedule.

What if I’m running late? Please call immediately if you’re running late. We may be able to accommodate a few minutes, but significant delays will likely result in a shortened visit.

Do you offer payment plans for everyone? Payment plans are available for ongoing treatment programs for patients who demonstrate commitment to their health journey and our practice guidelines.
